Moreover, the solution supports seamless upgrades to HPE Morpheus Enterprise Edition, empowering hybrid cloud orchestration, workload migration and multi-cloud scheduling via a unified control plane.
HPE Zerto for Data Protection
The platform is powered by HPE ProLiant Gen12 servers featuring superior energy efficiency and higher workload density. Leveraging HPE Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) technology, it delivers hardware-level management and comprehensive security reinforcement.
Equipped with a robust built-in data protection suite, the HPE Private Cloud now features validated compatibility with HPE Zerto Software, delivering continuous data protection, granular recovery, ransomware detection, as well as non-intrusive compliance auditing and automated reporting. Integrated with the Veeam Data Platform, it enables instant VM restoration, automated failover and agentless image-based backup. Further optimized by HPE StoreOnce, the system provides deduplicated backup and remote replication, achieving near-zero recovery point objectives (RPO) and recovery time objectives (RTO).
HPE SimpliVity Upgrades for Edge & Distributed Environments
HPE has upgraded its SimpliVity PC1000 hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) solution tailored for edge and distributed deployment scenarios. The updated version is compatible with HPE Morpheus VM Essentials and StoreOnce Gen5 systems, greatly enhancing data resilience and backup capabilities. As a standardized HCI solution for remote sites and branch offices, it ensures consistent operations and streamlined data protection workflows.
Alletra Storage Enhancements: Building Unified Data Layers for AI Workloads
To meet the surging demand for AI-enabled unified data platforms, HPE has expanded its Alletra Storage MP portfolio. The upgrades include native file services, scale-out block storage and AI-powered intelligent management to elevate automation capabilities.
HPE Alletra Storage MP Series
The Alletra Storage MP X10000 adds native file storage to its inherent object storage capabilities, enabling the consolidation of file and object workloads on one single system. It supports up to 16 nodes with a raw capacity of 23 PB and guarantees 100% data availability. The newly introduced RDMA-enabled file access, combined with RDMA-accelerated S3 protocols, reduces latency and boosts throughput for data-intensive tasks. It is well-suited for AI training, inference and key-value (KV) caching scenarios, while seamlessly supporting data analytics and cyber resilience workflows.
The Alletra Storage MP B10000 focuses on performance improvement and operational automation. Embedded with an agentic AI engine, it monitors, analyzes and resolves infrastructure anomalies in real time. It delivers a 5:1 data reduction guarantee and expands its controller nodes from 4 to 6, bringing up to 50% performance improvement while maintaining dual-node fault tolerance to ensure business continuity.
Data Fabric Optimization: Policy Automation & AI Assistance
HPE Data Fabric Software has been updated with policy-based data placement and mobility functions, enabling automated cross-environment data allocation. Equipped with a conversational interface and a built-in AI assistant, the platform provides natural-language access to the global namespace, accelerating data discovery and simplifying report generation.
Metadata management is further optimized to strengthen data classification, lineage tracking and cross-dataset visibility. Supporting open standards including Apache Polaris, it ensures consistent data governance and compliance across heterogeneous IT environments.
Zerto Software Updates: Strengthened Cyber Resilience & VMware Migration
HPE Zerto Software has undergone iterative upgrades to enhance cyber resilience and streamline workload mobility. Beyond its native capabilities for continuous data protection, automated failover and data recovery, an embedded AI assistant is newly added to simplify daily operational workflows.
Zerto optimizes virtualization transition workflows, enabling seamless workload migration from VMware environments to HPE Morpheus. Integrated with Microsoft Defender, it delivers real-time threat visibility and accelerates recovery procedures, building on HPE’s proven large-scale data recovery strengths.
The latest suite of updates aligns HPE GreenLake with core enterprise priorities, including simplified hybrid cloud deployment and improved AI compatibility. The integrated private cloud architecture, embedded data protection and scalable data platform enable unified governance of infrastructure and data services. Powered by automation and AI-driven intelligent management, the solution effectively cuts enterprise operational overhead.
